“Lawyers allege Giuliani using his expenditure on upkeep of apartments as an excuse to keep spending $ that legally belongs to creditors. They said that he wrongly alleged that he was keeping "equity in his 2 apartments for the benefit of creditors."
This week, in the Arizona fake electors case, Rudy Giuliani was arrested by the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, had his mug shot taken, and is now out on a USD 10,000 bond.

Because the law does not apply to members of the former Law and Order party, Rudy Giuliani has for weeks been mocking those trying to serve him with a subpoena.
Two days ago, he tweeted a taunt about the inability of the law to find him. The law then used the tweet to geolocate him and he was served. Lucian K. Truscott writes,

An indictment in Arizona said John #Eastman encouraged GOP electors to cast their votes in December 2020, unsuccessfully pressured state lawmakers to change the election’s outcome in Arizona and told then-Vice President Mike Pence that he could reject Democratic electors in the counting of electoral votes in Congress on Jan. 6, 2021.
#Trump himself was not charged in the Arizona case but was referred to as an unindicted co-conspirator.

Last year, Eastman was indicted on racketeering, conspiracy and other charges in a scheme to overturn the 2020 president election in Georgia.
He has pleaded not guilty to the Georgia charges.
Eastman also is named as an unindicted co-conspirator in the sprawling federal indictment filed in Washington against Trump for working to overturn the resultsof the 2020 election in the run-up to the violent riot by his supporters at the U.S. Capitol.

The questioning of Cohen, #Trump’s fmr fixer, is the beginning of the end of Trump’s #criminal trial, which began April 15 & might conclude before Memorial Day weekend at this pace.
In earlier testimony, #MichaelCohen made #RobertCostello (#Giuliani ally & lawyer who offered services to Cohen in 2018 when he was under investigation) sound as if he were an intermediary for #Trump, trying to keep Cohen #loyal. #Blanche is trying to complicate the relationship, asking if Costello told Cohen he had the option to cooperate w/ #law enforcement.
Reporting is #Costello’s role was convoluted, but Cohen did accept some legal advice from him at that time.

Today, Trump will be joined by the #House speaker, #MikeJohnson, as well as #NorthDakota’s governor, #DougBurgum, a contender to be Trump's running mate. Also present will be Representatives #ByronDonalds & #CoryMills of Florida, & #VivekRamaswamy, who was one of Trump's primary rivals this year. Both Donalds & Ramaswamy are longshot hopefuls to be Trump's running mate.
#MichaelCohen testifies that #Costello told him not to reach out to Trump directly. So while Costello & #Giuliani formed a link between #Trump & Cohen, they also acted as a buffer, which may have grated on Cohen, particularly given that he used to report to Trump directly — & loved it.
Prosecution shows an email from Costello to Cohen from April 2018, in which Costello informs Cohen that Giuliani has just joined the Trump legal team.
The emails from #Costello go a long way toward supporting #MichaelCohen’s description of their meeting. Cohen said that Costello recommended he hire him because his relationship w/ #RudyGiuliani would help him access to #Trump.
In 1 email, Costello tells Cohen that his relationship w/ #Giuliani could be useful to him. In a 2nd, he talks about a “back channel” for communication. In a 3rd, the not-so-subtle msg: “Sleep well tonight, you have friends in high places.”
A grand jury in #Arizona has indicted 18 of #Trump's closest advisors — including fmr WH Chief of Staff #MarkMeadows & fmr NYC Mayor Rudy #Giuliani. The defendants are accused of being involved in a #FakeElector scheme that sought to keep Trump in office despite his loss in the 2020 election.
