This is a great concept. It's a group of activists putting up posters of the alt text (it looks like) with a black square where a photo would normally be, describing photos of the genocide in Palestine.
🇮🇱 Thursday's attack is being described as a massacre of civilians by Israeli troops.
Hundreds of hungry and starving Palestinians had gathered to collect food aid, when they were attacked by Israeli snipers and shelled by Israeli tanks.
Israel has killed at least 77 Palestinians injured hundreds more in Gaza City.
More than 30,000 people have now been killed since Israel launched it war on Gaza in October.
"The current desecration of Gaza is the latest stage in a process that has taken increasingly violent forms over time.
In the fifty-six years since it occupied the Strip in 1967, Israel has transformed Gaza from a territory politically and economically integrated with Israel and the West Bank into an isolated enclave, from a functional economy to a dysfunctional one, from a productive society to an impoverished one. It has likewise removed Gaza’s residents from the sphere of politics, transforming them from a people with a nationalist claim to a population whose majority requires some form of humanitarian aid to sustain themselves."
🇮🇱 A video shows Israeli farmers crossing the fence to the Gaza Strip and starting agricultural work in the fields.
The farmers want to convert all areas "captured" by soldiers into "Israeli agricultural land".
The Israelis are following the example of their best friends, the Americans, who had already completed the colonization of the wild west in the 19th century. The only remaining thing is to get rid of the natives.
Today in Labor History February 22, 2004: Education Secretary Rod Paige called the nation’s largest teachers union, the National Education Association (NEA), a terrorist organization. Meanwhile, the Bush administration was imprisoning citizens and non-citizens indefinitely without trial for being “terrorists” and implementing a massive surveillance program that continues to this day.

Nothing is more annoying than influencers giving themselves permission to dehumanize Palestinians. Here are two examples, but I've seen many more. These are definitely two of the most defensive, lol.
Maybe it says more about the pitfalls of influencer culture (than the individuals), the need to be seen by millions as "authentic," ...

🇮🇱 Israeli soldier quotes religious scripture to justify killing Hamas fighters who surrender. "If you don't erase him, he will return and hurt you."
In his enlightening speech, he referred to David, who cut off Goliath's head with the sword, after he was already defeated.
This soldier was identified as Hiya Ben Hamu, who works in the Israeli tech industry and is a rabbi at a Hasidic yeshiva in the town of Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut.
Muslims were disinvited to a US Democratic campaign event. Not a good look. I wish we had other options for voting. These people want to do a genocide without people yelling at them i guess:(
Unenforceable demand for Israel to take action to prevent acts of genocide as it wages war against Gaza, without calling for an immediate ceasefire....
This is a victory?
Hasn't Israel been claiming all along that they are protecting civilians? Preventing genocide?
