During a press briefing on Monday, journalist Prem Thakker questioned US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller regarding a recent report by Israeli newspaper Haaretz.

In a single hour, an Israeli sniper killed seven bystanders, including two teenagers and a hospital director, in the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank.

The Israeli Army has released 50 Palestinian prisoners who spent months in detention. Many describe their experience as harrowing, highlighting the severe conditions they faced.

Of the 4,000 detainees housed at Sde Teiman since Oct., 35 have died either at the site or after being brought to nearby civilian hospitals.

"Israeli detention centres have become worse than Guantanamo Bay prison", the Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor said in a report.

With no firm public response yet from Hamas or Israel to the proposal they received 10 days ago, Blinken started his eighth visit to the region since the conflict began.

“If you want a cease-fire, press Hamas to say ‘yes,’” he told reporters before leaving Cairo on the trip that will take him to Israel, Jordan and Qatar.

Blinken said Israel has accepted the proposal, though Netanyahu has not said so directly.

A Pew Research Center survey finds that 39% of Israelis say Israel’s military response against Hamas in Gaza has been about right, while 34% say it has not gone far enough and 19% think it has gone too far.

Israeli Arabs are much more likely than Jews to say the country’s military response has gone too far (74% vs. 4%).

Almost no Israeli Arabs (3%) want Israel to govern the Gaza Strip after the war, while half of Israeli Jews think it should do so.

"Israel's conditions for ending the war have not changed", said Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday (June 1).

The Biden administration will miss a Wednesday deadline to report to Congress on whether Israel is violating international humanitarian law in Gaza, four sources said on Tuesday.

A National Security Memorandum, known as NSM-20, that President Biden issued in February requires the State Department to report to Congress by May 8 on whether it finds credible Israel's assurances that its use of U.S. weapons does not violate U.S. or international law.

The US House of Representatives has overwhelmingly passed a bill that would expand the federal definition of anti-Semitism, despite opposition from civil liberties groups.

The bill passed the House on Wednesday by a margin of 320 to 91, and it is largely seen as a reaction to the ongoing antiwar protests.

The Israeli PM Netanyahu on Wednesday "condemned" pro-Palestinian protests at universities in the US as “horrific”, saying the demonstrations “have to be stopped”, as he categorized students as antisemitic.

Actually, he is only calling on the American politicians, who have been paid by Israeli lobbies with their "own aid money", to ensure law and order.

It is sickening to see Israel and all their hasbara army are working 24/7 to call the protesters Terrorist supporters and discredit their bravery and actions.

The media in Europe are ignoring the atrocities of Israel in a level I have never seen before, multiple mass graves have been uncovered (again) close to Al Nasar hospital with over 280 bodies, some handcuffed, some with skin removed and some with possible organs removed.

Compare this to the "mass grave" in Ukraine where Russians had buried Ukraine soldiers with cross over their graves and their dog tag hanging over it and the news coverage and reporting about it.

War crime is war crime, but covering up for these and actively suppressing the voice of those who try to stand up against these repeated and ongoing atrocities is just something I wasn't expecting to see in so called democratic nations.

Israeli assistant professor Shai Davidai (Columbia Business School) recently even described the students as Hitler Youth and terrorists.

These wild comparisons with the Third Reich are horrible when you consider what happened during that time. You can no longer speak of neutral reporting when the media use such comparisons.

As long as no racist or antisemitic slogans are shouted by the students, or violence occurs, such protests should not be demonized.

I've read (not sure if it is still the case in 2024) that Fox News is the most watched primetime news channel in the United States. Unimaginable that this is the main source of information for a large number of people in the United States.

The death toll from an Israeli Military raid in the West Bank has risen to at least 14. In Tulkarem, Israeli forces raided several homes and used bulldozers to destroy buildings and critical facilities.

AFP journalists saw bodies in the streets and houses hit by blasts as Israeli drones flew overhead and armoured vehicles moved through the camp.

An ambulance driver was killed while transporting injured in an attack by Illegal settlers on Saturday.

The international community has lost its "moral compass" on war-ravaged Gaza, UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed said Tuesday.

🇮🇱 A faulty airdrop of aid in Gaza City has killed at least two people, according to reports.

Videos captured by local journalists showed over a dozen packages dropped from a plane falling at a great speed near the al-Fayrouz Towers area.

Airdops are dangerous because they can hit people when they land and they can lead to turmoil on the ground. Normally, aid is distributed in coordination with the aid organizations on the ground.

No one can tell Israel what to do, even if that means that they can only stay in Israel.

In their megalomania and driven by some centuries-old prophecy, they think Israel should be the biblical "Promised Land" - from the Nile to the Euphrates. This would include a large part of Egypt, the occupied territories, all of Jordan and a large part of western Iraq.

When it comes to Israel, there is still a long way to go. Our logic is too simple-minded to understand this.😉

In his enlightening speech, he referred to David, who cut off Goliath's head with the sword, after he was already defeated.

I think that is his most important motivation in life, to pay them back.

There is probably nothing that interests him less than the well-being of Palestinians.

The whole retoric of the Israeli government has shown how they think about these second-class individuals. If you look at the Nazi propaganda you won't find many differences.

Netanyahu wants the war to go on forever to prevent him being put on trial for corruption. I don't think he really cares about the Israeli people.
