"Israeli intelligence secretly surveilled officials in Gaza’s Health Ministry to check if their data on the number of civilians killed in Gaza is 'reliable', Israeli intelligence sources told us.
The army found the numbers are reliable and now regularly uses them internally in intelligence briefings."

After 18 years of #hamas control of #Palestinians , is it impossible to suggest the only people that remain living in #gaza were families or infrastructure supporting #terrorists?
Hamas declared #jihad on #israel, October 7th 2023 from the streets of Gaza.
Hamas took 200 + #hostages from around the world on October 7th 2023.
Rightly so! It is the height of hypocrisy to suspend aid over these allegations - made by Israel, no less, with its long history of blatant lies - while continuing to support Israel and its ongoing massacre of thousands of civilians.
Interesting thought about the #ICJ ruling that calls Israel's action against #Palestinians in #Gaza#Genocide; requires humanitarian access, but DOES NOT include a #ceasefire ... that by ruling it genocide and not providing a means of international protection for Palestinian citizens, legitimizes #Hamas as a #LiberationFront.😎
I guess the ICJ verdict wasn't perfect, but it may have opened up a window for the world to have chance to watch the truly and ugly face of Israeli occupation and military operations.
PS. The video came out last week. It's not something new, they chose to sit on it for a week waiting for ICJ verdict to come out.
This is a follow-up report to the preceeding link from #CNN. This one came out today (Monday, 29 Jan 2024). The reporters are guided through a tunnel that the IDF claims is under a cemetery that they (Isreal) desecrated and destroyed, but the #IDF General does not permit the reporters to confirm the location of the tunnel to the cemetery, while on-site.
(Spoiler: At the end of the video, CNN later geolocated the tunnel entrances and the tunnel between them to an area just outside the ruins of the cemetery.)
Deep Irony in World Governance today as seen on my Youtube Homepage. On the left, the UN channel broadcasting on the ICJ decision against Israel agreeing it is plausible there is Genocide occuring and ordering them to abide by international law preventing genocide.
On the right, a UN Ceremony on the International Day of Remembrance of the Holocaust.

@appassionato A while back #Hamas said, in so many words, they've lost track of a number of the prisoners because of the chaos #Israel is causing in areas the prisoners were being held at by bombing etc. Israel is claiming Hamas killed them.
Ps I refer to them a Prisoners because they're SETTLERS WHO WERE #SQUATTERS ON STOLEN LAND belonging to #Palestinians, without permission or visa/paperwork. They're technically, by international law standards, under arrest. @palestine
Why yes, I AM still getting deluged by trolls who are intentionally calling me Pro Genocide after my earlier post.
Thanks for asking.
Adding: I did not take a stand on anything other than to stop calling Biden "pro genocide," and saying that disagreement with his policies is fine by me & that I don't discuss that war in my feed... because of... this kind of reaction by trolls and others who are trolls in training, apparently.
#GeoPol
Oops, I do take stands against or pro both sides, as I feel appropriate.
The subject is too important and the conflict helps #Russia, #Iran, and the #Houthis, among others,
and makes matters worse for the #Palestinians, the #Jewish people globally, and the #Ukrainians, in particular.
"It is important for America and the world to hear Biden oppose this moral calamity.
Last week, in a statement marking 100 days since the war began, Biden showed appropriate empathy for the plight of hostages, whose abduction by Hamas is a continuing war crime.
Yet Biden’s failure to mention the plight of Palestinians was a profound error, which he can rectify by taking a strong stand against the atrocities in Gaza."
"In this conversation, Said addresses comparatively his years of experience during #ForeignPolicy briefings, notably on Palestine, at the #USStateDepartment and #WhiteHouse, with focus on the current war on #Gaza."
An acquaintance of mine had several loved ones arrive yesterday as part of this group. Warmest welcome to everyone who has made it out of Israel so far, and best wishes and safest travels to those still being subjected to this deplorable culmination of decades of oppression at the state of Israel’s hand.
