    The colour brown is so common in nature that we tend to overlook it. It does not catch the eye like blue, that is rare in nature. It does have many merits in it's warm hues, and lots interesting subjects for an artist to explore...

    One week left on my enamel pin campaign on Backerkit! Only sunflower is left from the goals.

    These flowers all appear in mythology from or about Ancient Greece. Each unlocked pin gets a little story by @duncanwilson, directly inspired by those myths.

    A new bee drawing, this time with red poppies. These little guys just love poppies, sometimes I see them pick up the colour of the pollen when they have been rooting around in the heart of flower, I've seen purple coated bees emerging, too cute!
    That said, for the purposes of art I have kept the colours simple and clean here...

    American Bald Eagle portrait is a watercolor painting in landscape format painted by the artist Karen Kaspar. It shows the head and upper body of a bald eagle sitting and looking to the right.
