Finally got it all set up just how I want it, sorta. Thinking of getting some button mods to make it more unique ◾️

when did you get it and why? how often do you use it?...
I figure it will be a good thing to throw onto a wish list for whatever holiday is coming next. In a perfect world, it would run a Linux-based OS, be moddable, have decent ergonomics for an adult, and kinda just generally not suck. Is a hundred bucks a reasonable price point? One hundred fifty? I grew up in the 8-bit and...
Hey there, I have been dancing around some games for the Steam Sale. I know it's goofy as they're pocket change, but I really like to have a curated and minimal library of games. So the three I have been dancing around are the three listed. And figured there'd be no better place to ask than here. I like to play some retro games...
I've spent four hours playing Rage today via the Xbox Series backwards compatibility. (Is it emulation or real hardware?)...
I found a box of CD-Roms and floppy disks in my mum's basement and damnit, I want to play them! I could use emulators, DosBox or VMs but it's never quite the same as having the real thing, so between an eBay mobo and a box of old parts I managed to build my new gaming rig to cover 1990-2005....
A callback to the PS3 early days.
So...after watching latest Noclip video, I was having a bit of a Wipeout itch...I have a rather decent gaming computer, but I was wondering what would be the best way to play the wipeout series...was 2097 the best one? Is there a good way to get it running at decent resolution/effects these days?...
Ordered back in Feb and just got delivered!...
Hey folks, I've lurked on this community for a while now but haven't really posted anything until today. Sorry if this isn't really the right place to ask questions like this, but since this is a place for old games, I felt it'd be the most appropriate one......
Retro games are often known for being more difficult than their modern brethren. Every now and then though you run into a game that is actually too easy. Which game would you prefer to have more of a challenge?
I just got a RG353v and a friend at work has a modded switch. We were planning on playing games at lunch and I am looking for recommendations. We are both fans of 4-5th gen and will probably play those the most. Any genre of game is fine, co op or competitive is fine too. So far we have windjammers as a go to but I want to...
I played a little of it when I first got it, but then I heard that it's better to patch it. So I joined the discord for it and figured I'd look into that later. Well later turned into years, eventually I left the discord server to make space for other servers and never did wind up going back to Arcanum....

Hopefully this is the right place to post:...
So, I played Shenmue and progressed through the story by going to different locations asking about ‘the three blades’; I learned more about Ryo’s father’s murder but I wasn’t sure how I progressed the story because I just got back to playing the game....
So I have these old, original Game Boy (like, the grey one with the maroon buttons) games I wanna play again (original Pokemon Blue). What can I get to do so?...
Ive been looking into getting a retro gaming handheld and the miyoo mini plus looks a really great and has a dedicated community with a nice linux OS (Onion OS) so I think it might be the best option but I can’t find the official website to order it from. There’s a ton of websites when googling and multiple have miyoo in the...
