Opinions on Arcanum/Sword of the Samurai/Challenge of the Five Realms? Afar

Hey there, I have been dancing around some games for the Steam Sale. I know it's goofy as they're pocket change, but I really like to have a curated and minimal library of games. So the three I have been dancing around are the three listed. And figured there'd be no better place to ask than here. I like to play some retro games quite a bit. Some because I played them when I was younger. Some because they just sort of click with my adult brain. Most games nowadays move too fast, or are too intense for me. And I can't really vibe with a lot of them. I know Steam has this refund option, and in the end if that's the way I go (and give the lot a try) - so be it. But I really am interested in other's thoughts. So please feel free to give them here.

Arcanum - Is this game actually playable when it's turn-based? VtM is one of my favorite games of all time, and it's pretty much why I am interested in this game. I am worried that this game might be too difficult to play if not in real-time. Likewise, I am worried there might not be a quest log - which makes things a bit rougher for an idiot like me who has trouble translating short-term to long-term memory. I am open to following a guide, but enjoy just playing a game more. I know at least one of you has have to have played this, give me the 411.

Sword of the Samurai - I have played The Wind and The Wilting Blossom like a crackhead. I'm mixed, and grew up with Japanese-esq stuff around the house. Some how the aesthetic just calms me right down. Like a baby being swaddled. This game looks quite interesting. I know that it can be somewhat formulaic from the Youtube videos I watched. But there's some real shine in there. I am just worried that ultimately it becomes quite redundant and is low in replayability. Let me know of your love/hate relationship with this game.

Challenge of the Five Realms - There is something about this that really calls to me. I saw some gameplay on Youtube and it looks rough. But funny. Not just funny, interesting. I saw someone say they were grumpy it was on-rails. I don't really mind that. Even if I got one good go out of it, I'd be open to it. I am just not sure how the game's systems translate to modern times. So if you've played this, please tell me your opinion on it.
