@wdlindsy I, for one, am thrilled that Democrats have found a way to register displeasure with Biden’s foreign policy by using the “uncommitted” option. Genuine democracy in action: using the threat of the ballot box to pressure the current administration to make substantive change now.
@PapyrusBrigade Healthy debate is certainly good for any political party. I suspect the point being made here is not about the need for healthy intraparty debate, but about how the media consistently treat the Democrats as opposed to the Republicans. I myself am not thrilled when many Democrats play right into that dynamic. I think the lack of solidarity of those on the political left in the United States is one of the main reasons the left is always weak and defensive.
@wdlindsy The journalists got so tired of typing “and why that’s a problem for the Biden Campaign” that now they use a Ctrl-Alt-Doohickey macro to plop in onto every newspaper headline, every cable-news chyron, etc.
