@faab64 Ahh. A generous sprinkle of cornmeal or bran or sesame seeds underneath the rising bread helps it slide off easily to the stone.

I’ve never tried putting chia seeds on top of bread. Sounds good.

@wdlindsy I, for one, am thrilled that Democrats have found a way to register displeasure with Biden’s foreign policy by using the “uncommitted” option. Genuine democracy in action: using the threat of the ballot box to pressure the current administration to make substantive change now.

@TCatInReality @indigenous_commentator FWIW, I think the key is for white people to learn that the harms of systemic racism outweigh the benefits. The myth of welfare queens to keep benefits low. Crappy underfunded public schools. Poor labour protections, lack of sick leave, poor maternity benefits, poor healthcare benefits. Lack of unions.

Holding onto white privilege in such a system is like being happy you have stale bread instead of moldy bread. Better than it could be, but not good.
