IMO, pundits & corporate media are pushing the “replace Joe” mantra precisely because they know there isn’t a viable replacement candidate now and Fucko would win by default. As toxic as HRC was in too many people’s minds, VP Harris is more so today. In this racist climate, she’d never won the popular vote let alone the EC totals necessary (& I’m a big fan of hers). Do I wish Pres. Biden were 20 years younger? Sure, but I think he’s up to continuing the job he’s done so well since 2021. Any win is up to us donating, working the vote & getting people to the polls.

Unpopular opinion: the rise of fascism in America was greatly aided by white supremacist blowback to having a Black man in the White House. Birtherism was the way Trump got into politics.
No, it's not Obama's fault that America is racist, but the harm is real. Hundreds of thousands of people died because of Trump and more will die if he gets back into power.

@GottaLaff All true, but I can't help thinking about how this is something we need to go through sooner or later. The first woman of color to be President will face harsh resistance whenever it happens, but that's not a reason not to hope for it or work towards it. The Right feels like it has a pretty good grip on the Overton Window, and Harris as President would wrench things back to, if not the real left, then at least the center.

@GottaLaff as non American from what I've seen Kamala would be significantly worse. I low key like Biden as he had the balls to go to Ukraine in person and in general seems to be a strong leader who cares despite being a literal skeleton lol. Underrated.
@GottaLaff I read this too! I think he is spot on! I, too, am disgusted by the media. They have overlooked so much so they can bash Joe. His smiles, in the ABC George show, said it all. He knows exactly what media is trying to do. And I am voting for Joe. All of this is nonsense. Of course he’s old, he surrounds himself with people that are as smart as he is. His administration will do what has to be done. Trying to dismiss him and “find someone else” to do the work is nuts!!
