He spends the entire time screeching "it da bird!"

... He's also two-and-a-half, so I guess that's okay.

@Tim_Eagon this is very funny and imo the same as when earlier generations would act out TV interviews while in the shower (I hope other people did this)

@Tim_Eagon My grandkids talk like their doing a TikTok or Snapchat video. "Hey guys!" when they're just talking to us. And the way they explain things, it just feels like a performance? And not in a they're-faking-it way, this is how they're used to getting information told to them! So no, it's not just you or your kids...

@Tim_Eagon 44 and I used to do it as a kid for sports games - I was the announcer just like when watching sports on TV.

But many of my friends kids do narrate all their games now and some even end their gaming sessions with "like and subscribe" - kids understand the world in relation to the things they see.

@Tim_Eagon I'm 44 and I did that as a kid even though streaming didn't exist. Granted, I did it in my head rather than out loud...

@Tim_Eagon I knew kids like that back before streaming was a thing but I can only imagine it's become more prevalent since.
