Another Tasmania shot from last year. A magical few minutes spent with the endangered Swift Parrots feeding on the side of the road at Adventure Bay, Bruny Island, Tasmania.

Three Swift Parrots on the ground, feeding. They are all mostly green, but with blue on the top of their heads, red face with yellow trim, red under the leading edge of the wings, the odd bit of turquoise. There is one bird in front, leaning over about to peck something off the ground, and two behind facing each other like they're having a nice chat.
