Media’s breathless, hysterical, round-the-clock, clickbait coverage of the protests is yet another example of how the fourth estate has abandoned any and all responsibility to inform and educate in exchange for advertiser-luring clicks.
I am still waiting for the major part of the media to own up to their role in helping to elect Trump in 2016. Their coverage of everything else has been failing us all and this is no different. A large portion of people have also apparently learned nothing.

Consumer demand CAN influence what & how the media reports political figures & issues.
In the 2016 election, US voters were totally screwed out of any honest vetting of Trump because of his celebrity appeal, the focus on his outrageous statements, “but her emails,” and his media manipulation. We NEVER heard the truth.
This election isn’t just for president — it’s setting our future course for either democracy OR fascism.
All media chases the flashiest object & today’s media is leaving TRUTH behind in the dust.
WE CAN DEMAND that all media report Pres. Biden’s administration’s record of successes (which is an amazing one) and his future agenda.
WE CAN DEMAND that all media report not only Trump’s fascist agenda, but every instance where that agenda will be UNCONSTITUTIONAL & a violation of his oath of Office.
We have SIX MONTHS LEFT to save this country. Millions of voters are not getting factual info on either Pres. Biden’s record or Trump’s lethal plans.
@TonyStark The Fourth Estate used to have a wall between it and corporate media owners and boards. That wall fell when George Bush got Dan Rather fired from CBS in 2005 for exposing Bush2's bad behaviors in the military, covered up by his powerful dad.
Rather predicted that in the future news would be what journalists were told to report by their owners.
Voila. MSM owners are the very billionaires destroying democracy so they don't have to pay fair taxation.
@EarthOne24 I thought people had realized this but it doesn’t seem like it. Trump is in the middle of a hush money trial and Biden did about a dozen consequential good things this week but you would never know it from most of what’s in the news. People letting themselves be lead around the nose yet again to their own downfall.
