I use Alpine Linux for all my dockers, small and fast.

Does the form factor between 3.5" and 2.5" matter in a NAS server? ( slrpnk.net )

Been finding some good deals on 2.5 disks lately, but have never bought one before. Have a couple of 3.5 disks on the other hand in my Unraid server. Wondering how much it matters wether I get a 2.5 or not? What form factor do you prefer/usually go for?

    tomten ,

2.5" disks are SMR, you don't want that in a raid.

Unless you have use case for that much horsepower I would suggest, like others here, buy a mini PC as a start and if you need more down the line buy a second one. They are cheap, fairly quiet and don't use much power.

Ok but how long does it take to get the stemcells

The frequency and duration of ad breaks is beginning to make me feel like I’m in that black mirror episode where they had to pay to stop ads from constantly playing. ( kbin.social )

I definitely consume too much dystopian content to be a fair dystopian barometer, but the sheer amount of ads being pushed my way is starting to make me feel legitimately anxious. It feels like a techno-dystopia where all of the neat and artistic elements have been extracted and then ground into dust for our corporate overlords....

That's not why it's repeated a 1000 times, it's so when you actually do want to buy something in that category you're more likely to buy theirs because it's familiar.

    tomten ,

Yes it's normal, I sometimes use that to disinfect my ears after diving and it sizzles a bit.

If I where you I would just buy a regular case that can fit a decent amount of HDDs like a fractal define 7 or one of its older versions and transplant your current computer into that with some new drives. 100tb is 5 20tb drives so you don't need that many.

USB enclosures are not a great way to handle storage as USB tends to be unreliable.
