@GottaLaff @Turnimunt @lunaticatlarge @DLeeT I have autism and I used to not say it, because it doesn’t seem like it, but there are those occasions when it shows for better or worse and it gives context. He gets an interview no one asks about his stutter and how it is a life long struggle. You can manage it but it creates situations, it’s why he flamed out before in campaigns. I think it would be better to just proclaim this louder. A stutterer still has mental acuity. Damn it!

This is fantastic. Being dependent on other countries for 90% of our chips is a vulnerability that most people don't understand but should.

Besides big companies like Intel, there are hundreds of smaller companies that support fabs and the major equipment companies. Due to the extremely strict quality standards, the workers in these companies are typically well paid.

This is a necessary, worthwhile investment.

Today someone accused me of stealing a joke that I posted. I told them I write everything I post myself and asked if they could show me the original joke that they thought I stole. I guess they were unable to find it, and naturally, instead of admitting they were wrong they proceeded to block me. I am many things (a fiend, a heathen, a self-proclaimed titan of industry, etc.) but I am no joke thief.
