@Ailantd 100% with you. I tried to do a boolean of two objects. In Moi it’s 2 clicks, in zB 2, in B4lender I gave up after 3 and still not achieving it. I have various plugins for faster booleans etc. but I don’t see why a modelling package should rely on third party stuff to do what it should do out of the box

@Ailantd My background as an Industrail Designer means I gravitate towards good design and usually means something that offers the path of least resistance. Blender has been and continues to be the exact opposite (Bfor. seems to go a way to trying to fix that). The same could be said of z-Brush but that’s just because it’s so fundamentally different from anything else. Once you understand that, it’s so easy and fast.

@Ailantd @thisnorthernboy @nyrath This 100%. Bit like Moi3D or zBrush, both of which are designed for either mouse or better still pens on Wacoms etc. And people hate zB but you can totally pull apart the UI and set it up to the way you work.

@Ailantd @jackwilliambell @thisnorthernboy @nyrath This. I now stay away fromsoftware that leans on ‘community’ plugins to do core functions as more often than not, those plugins stop working at some point. Extending capability is something else, but for core? No way (where I regard UI as core)

My originals are long gone but I have the entire collection in digital format. Starblazer was pulpy but oh so good and often the highlight of Saturday afternoon trip to the news agency (news stand in the US)

I call these mendella's and are a way to explore shapes and forms that inhabit The Silent's universe I start in the centre of the page and work out in a kind of meditative manner. I really like doing these and I am going to start doing larger, ISO A2 sized ones ithat are slightly more finished.

The fortune wheel was originally conceived as an autonomous deep space exploration ship. She still wanders reporting life contacts for each colony planet she reaches.
It is known since the Quant event that it will be related to great collapse. Nothing can be done to avoid that.
