Each company is facing an antitrust lawsuit from the Biden admin.

When Trump openly and repeatedly exclaims that migrants are “poisoning the blood of our country,” or shares a video calling for a “unified Reich,” he is literally echoing the language of Hitler.

Trump is not a “populist.” He’s not a “strongman.” He is a fascist.

Use the word.

@rbreich "strongman" is exactly why the super rich donating to Biden don't care at all if he wins or not, end of the day Trump win means they also win "bigly", Trump ain't going after super rich regardless what their "public" political affiliation is. End of the day, any sadness resulting from their "good guy" loosing will be easily drowned by flood of cash from Trump tax cuts. For ordinary people, regardless how toothless Biden is with Palestine etc, they have far more to loose.

These cuts have already helped billionaires' grow their fortunes by $2 trillion.

He promised lower taxes and a rollback of Biden's climate regulations and clean energy programs in return.

Trump is literally willing to take bribes in exchange for the destruction of the planet.

@poligraf @palestine although world is united against Russia vs Ukraine, and most are also united against Israel attacks on Palestine, one deafening voice on the issue is what is Zelensky's position on it is. Yes he's busy with a war at home but all he has said about it is support of Israel and how he sees it taking attention away from his country. To me this is very alarming to say the least when far far more people have been killed indiscriminately in Gaza and with a genocide in progress...

@rbreich this is the same everywhere now, sad thing is people in the middle think somehow they will go up to the 1% rather than ending at the bottom even though they know 1% have shut the gates long ago and are still using their labor begrudgingly until it can be fully eliminated to fill up any cracks that might allow any trickle down...

    @rbreich this is why I'm dead against American Billionaires & Millionaires going around buying up sport franchises around the world. They don't do this to go in to d1ck measuring contest to see who has the most wealth by as a hobby and to improve local conditions etc but to make even more money by taking all the revenue for themselves, establish a local presence to allow their operatives in Atlas network etc to take full control and pass all the expenses to supporters and local communities.

    From 1989 to 2019, the richest 1% of families increased their share of total national wealth from 27% to 34%.

    At the same time, families in the bottom 50% saw their share drop from 4% to 2%.

    When I say trickle-down economics is a hoax, this is what I mean.

    Six students have measles in an outbreak at a Florida elementary school.

    How did Florida's health department respond?

    Their Surgeon General sent out a letter that supports parents sending unvaccinated children to school during the outbreak and doesn't recommend vaccination.

    There is a cluster of measles cases that has been identified at Manatee Bay Elementary. The Florida Department of Health (DOH) is continuously working with all partners, including Broward County Public Schools and local hospitals, to identify close contacts. Measles can be transmitted four days prior to the start of symptoms. When measles is detected in a school, it is normally recommended that individuals without history of prior infection or vaccination stay home for up to 21 days. This is the period of time that the virus can be transmitted. However, due to the high immunity rate in the community, as well as the burden on families and educational cost of healthy children missing school, DOH is deferring to parents or guardians to make decisions about school attendance.     @luckytran everyone wonder why right wing governments take over everywhere, they don't tinker around the edges, they execute their cruelty with glee. Opposition while tinkers around edges hoping to win over everyone and achieves nothing becoming lesser of two evils the only reason to vote. Case and point here, Biden has the opportunity to take a stand and do the right thing but chooses not to, hoping he might win few right wingers (not really), while alienating tons more who chooses to stay home
