Yeah, not its purpose but it’s very good at explaining events, few words but very telling, not to mention the poetic nature of the Arabic language, who hasn’t heard about the people of the cave (Al-kahf)? That chapter also has some beautiful recitations (with English translations)

Tbh they are very easily misinterpreted, I don’t really recommend unless they really have the knowledge to understand them

Reason this is controversial is because hamas is literally the same thing as IDF, bibi funded it and that much genocide also radicalized a shit ton of people, hamas is an asset of Israel, they shouldn’t be equated to palestine in anyway

This exact story will now be used to justify all the war crimes Israel has been doing, when hamas does something, Israel should be the one held accountable, not Palestine, there are no ‘two sides’, its only one side continuously killing the innocent

‘Studies’ show that coffee only makes you less aware of your exhaustion, it doesn’t make you perform any better, so sleep is objectively better, but man, I will feel much worse waking up from 3hrs of sleep than if I just never slept to begin with

Tbh, if anything is gonna fail, it’s my painting lol, but there are always colour pencils which are never gonna fail, but I really wanted to try something else

I think I am just gonna draw some gradients and stuff instead of something complicated

You see lemmy has decided whenever anything bad happens religion is to blame, Measles? Religion, Global Warming? Religion, War? Religion

Idk what the fuck is going on in the US, but from what I can tell is that they are using religion as an excuse to do whatever the fuck they want (anyone who has the slightest knowledge of the bible knows this is wrong anyway), while also not changing their conservative mindset, I live in a religious conservative society as well and it is 100% the conservativesm I have a problem with, not with people believing in a god

Edit: And I am not a christian either before I get comments like ‘gO aWaY buTthUrt ChrISTOfacIst lol’, I just have studied a fair share of major religions

Ofc, they have been committing crimes especially in the middle east ever since my parents were born, and have directly and indirectly killed millions, but ofc they always get away with it, however if someone else does the same, they get freaking bombed, I hate every autocratic dictatorship around the world but I just have a personal grudge with the democratic US, I don’t think anyone has killed more than them, while also being directly responsible for the rise of radical organizations around the world
