@randahl reminds me of all the frightening stats about how little American’s understood about the world in Carl sagans ‘science as a candle in the dark…’ way back then. My country is doing pretty badly in education the masses but nothing like the American idiot factory.

@randahl I just purchased an electric vehicle. BMW see an opportunity and are going hard for his market. Good tax breaks and insane finance rate won me over, felt nice fighting back with my wallet 😂

@randahl yeah I went with an i4 35 (the 35 is tax advantageous here). I like the i4 cause it’s a traditional car, not bmw’s take on what the electric only brands are doing

@Teppichbrand @rosschie just like radium. A technology those who don’t understand technology thinks is ready but isn’t. So yes let’s just let these people use us as Guinea pigs. People will die. Do you find people dying to let Elon get a few more bucks an ok thing? Personally as someone who has built technology my whole life I’d like it fully baked before it’s put around peoples children.
