What is fantastic about composting worms is that not only they are able to process an insane amount of waste and help us limit greenhouse gasses from landfills, but we often forget that they produce one if the most powerful manure that can be made at home.

If you apply the worm castings in your garden, you will boost the biology in your soils and provide a lot of nutrients for your plants.

If you want to do something for the a worm bin is a very good start.

The Appeal to Heaven flag isn't just tied to Jan 6.

It's a Christian nationalist symbol.

Christian nationalists believe that the law of the land is not the Constitution, but instead the law of God as they interpret it.

Do you see the problem with Alito flying this flag?

The state I live in (South of the US) is pushing a law to ban the mask in public for "health reasons".

This spring I have been so miserable because of the allergies that by necessity I decided to wear a outside again despite taking strong medicine that won't allow me to be safe outside.

There is also a deadly pandemic going on but who cares I guess.

If I wear a mask that is to protect my health and also others.

I have no name to describe how messed up this is.

Our public is a cool place where you can learn about for free, have classes that teach you how to grow food, and grab free seeds to food.

You also will find there all the knowledge you need to make a fine at home.

This is more than a service it is what keeps our society civilized.

Many people will use the excuse that we need to save the economy to justify quitting on the climate.

Those who raised me taught me that to have a comfortable life, you have to study to get good jobs that you can keep for several decades, then buy a house and provide a comfortable situation for those you love.

What will it take for these people to understand that it is the Earth that provides for the economy and your comfort, I do not know.

The truth is, without a healthy planet, you can forget about your privileges. Your money will not save you from a ruined climate.

The climate is far more important than the economy and the next generations deserve better than our greed and pride that are their destroyers.

I am amazed that is not a theme at the heart of the next presidential election in America.

The cost of unusual weather events for the next 4 years will be enormous. That is something to be concerned about. And that is one of the best counterarguments to oppose the deniers. If you think it does not exist pay for the damages, those are real.

I don't care about how old the candidates are, the climate going out of control is way more concerning.

Climate change deniers will be blocked and reported on this account because first it is an irrelevant opinion to discuss, and second if you can't observe the facts and you only want to be right you are an idiot who deserves zero visibility.

Compost is one tool that can help the if the elites quit on the climate, it is on the people to face the challenge.
