After considering the recent news regarding Hunter Biden's felony convictions, I have made the decision that I shall never vote for Hunter Biden for any public office whatsoever. It would be really irresponsible, nay borderline nihilistic, to vote for a convicted felon. I don't want America to become a s***hole country, that's why I I won't vote for any felons, even if they belong to my favorite political party or promise to benefit me personally.

Worth noting the things that he didn't say:

  • politically motivated prosecution, wouldn't have been prosecuted if his last name wasn't Biden
  • casting aspersions on the prosecutors, court staff, jurors and the media circus
  • questioning the verdict because he doesn't like what it means for his family, saying that America is a third-world country

This is how I expect a president to react while being a good father to his son who has been found guilty by a jury of his peers.

In other "news" Tucker Carlson went on "The Rogan Experience" and denied that evolution by means of natural selection explained the diversity & history of living things on earth.

Said there was "no evidence" humans could have evolved "from a single cell organism"

It's impossible to know if he's just saying this for attention.

I've always said science would be next. Tucker is the vanguard of the far right. Give it five years and you'll have congress members wanting this in your schools.

So, private companies in the space business 🤷. Thursday a Texas based company called Intuitive Machines landed on the moon. It did not go smoothly. The live feed was abruptly halted. It was unclear what happened. Then the company said they were getting a faint signal. People speculated the spacecraft had tipped over. Hours later the company announced it was upright! Friday their stock jumped wildly, but after the market closed, they held a press conference, and said it had tipped over.🤔

That should certainly bring SEC action, if it happened. It will be more interesting if any insiders had a 10b5-1 plan to sell at $12 and they argue that they expected the mission to succeed when they made the plan.

So much impunity. These would be fascists need some real consequences from the justice system. They keep testing the boundaries to see what they can get away with. If the courts allow them to keep getting away with it, they will keep pushing further and further.
