so. in January I was in a bad car accident. fractured spine, ruptured discs, cracked pelvis, broken arm. last 4 months have been v hard. tonight though I'm going back to my adult dance class for the first time. I wasn't sure I'd ever even walk properly again so this is a moment for me. a good one

Years ago I used to recommend a Fedi platform called Lemmy. However, in 2021 some very disturbing stuff about Lemmy's developers came out which totally changed my mind. Because of this, I did a thread to warn people about Lemmy and then never mentioned them again.

Today a mod on this account's old server deleted the 2021 thread, without any explanation but apparently by mistake.

@FediTips Screw Lemmy. Once I read about the standings of some of the core devs I never consider using it.

I wish Kbin was further along and generating some remote level of parity with reddit in terms of action and amount of content.
