@randahl
I've just watched your video on Russia and remembered this toot form yesterday.
Although I'm just interested on headlines just to stay informed, I found it very thorough and engaging, I can see a lot of work put behind. Usually, when I'm concern about foreign policy I just listen what Pedro Brieger have to say (an Argentine journalist), now I will consider you too
I think you can measure the level of knowledge that somebody has on a subject by the quality of their metaphors
@jefebromden thank you very much Jefe. I am glad you liked it. It was very interesting to research this topic — especially because I do not read Russian, but thanks to the wonders of autotranslation, I could benefit from using Russian sources too.
@randahl I understand. I've been trying to learn Japanese to be able to find information about Japanese Color System, and I have the intention of learn French to read Foucault and Sartre books in its original language. I'd like to learn Russian but because it would be interesting to learn a new alphabet.
I don't know if you're familiar with the sapir-whorf hypothesis. It says that the language you speak influences the way you think
