Tolerance is a social contract yes. The contract says, 'I will tolerate you as long as you tolerate me'.

Basically if a group has a stated purpose of wanting you dead, they're in breach and lose their protection.

The biggest issue is extremism on both sides of the political spectrum. Division and hate are extremely easy to stoke and the left is at least as complicit.
Unless people change their mindset to and remove the barriers they put up between people, conflict will be inevitable.

Oddly they have some arguments that the hard left would agree with normally if it wasnt so polarised.

For example critical race theory would say institutional racism caused disparity right? So is institutional racism bad? Or just bad if it preferences a race you prefer?

There's better options for helping the disadvantaged than resorting to racism.

Rather than hold up a color chart why not judge based on economic factors? A person's income,parental income, education level, tax returns etc are far more accurate indicators.

Not exactly. I think we should act to alleviate inequality but we don't need to resort to racism to do it.

How about instead of race we use economic indicators to choose who to help? It's a far more accurate indicator and easier to test for than holding up a color chart (family income, education, tax returns) and actually helps more people that need it than only helping (insert the race you want to preference here).

Racism = treating differently based on race.

Changing the colour of your clan robes from white to black doesn't make you less of a racist.

You're falling into the trap so many do where they think their racism is the only good one and is right and justified. Spoiler, every racist thinks the same. Just treat people the same mate.
