    No one is ‘attacking’ Israel.

    They have been the instigators of conflict in that region for at least six decades, supported by the US war and propaganda machine.

    One of the most rewarding things about building and has been the journey and exploration of open source tools.

    There is so much shit out there that's just fucking cool.

    They just don't work together.

    If there was a platform or service that tied together their APIs into a cohesive and easy to use experience, that would be transformative.

    Damn. I think I just figured something out.

    The magnificent mess that Mastodon has a lot of problems, and its current leadership has shown that it simply does not have the answers or insight to solve them. At this point, it just is what it is.

    But I will say this about Mastodon: it is an imperfect, shambling, and rickety example of not needing centralized platforms. At all.

    We have big questions to answer and a steaming high pile of shit to solve in the fedi. This is true.

    But we’re on the board, and the alleged Big Tech spots are reacting to what we are doing instead of vice versa.

    That’s fucking cool, man.

    2024 is gonna be a big year for the fedi.

    We've gotten past the point where it's just a fun hobby, and more people believe in the potential of this place, which we've barely begun to explore.

    It won't be televised, but I'm cool with that.

    By the time we’re done, those communication methods will be obsolete anyway.

    The stuff we are figuring out has never been done before.
