I was just saying to someone that I think Riddick is one of those characters who are better the less you know about them, like the original film.

Of course all the sequels try to answer those questions.

On the other hand, the Xbox game, Escape From Butcher Bay, was one the better film tie-ins I've played.

I don't think they have their open official app but they offer their API free to developers I think.

I'm on Android and I've been through several TMDB apps but I don't really like any of them. I do know that Letterboxd use their API as well but that's a more social based thing.

Thank you, I'll give that a go.

I feel the trailer gave away most of the film! I will see it at some point, not in a rush.

Jeff Bridges Returns For "TRON: Ares" - Dark Horizons ( www.darkhorizons.com )

74-year-old Jeff Bridges has confirmed he’s going back to the grid with an appearance in the upcoming “TRON: Ares” currently shooting in Canada. Appearing on the Film Comment podcast (via The Playlist), Bridges says: “I’m heading off this Saturday to play a part in the third installment of the ‘Tron’ story. Jared...

Personally, I'm not a fan but it's like all art. Some people like it, others don't. It's like the wall art version of Spiderman which I think just looks a little odd, but there's obviously a market for these kind of sets.

If you like NewPipe but want your videos to skip the annoying bits, there's a fork called Tubular that incorporates SponsorBlock.

Same program, the developer changed the name. 😊

It's a little disconcerting when I post stuff and people (I assume) down vote it because they can't be bothered to read past the headline.

I posted a video to an almost dead Tron community with Joseph Kosinski talking about Tron Legacy being released in 4K.

But, again, I assume, because the video thumbnail and description was all about Top Gun Maverick...⬇️👇⬇️👇⬇️

I remember my friend and I discovering Guyver in our local blockbusters. Here in the UK, it was called Mutronics.

The first film is quite silly but lots of fun. The second takes a more serious tone and I'll always remember it has the voice of Metal Gear Solid's Snake, David Hayter, in the lead role.

This was the first computer I ever played on, it was at my cousin's house. I was convinced there was a loop of film in the cartridge but couldn't figure out how that would work with player interaction.

When my cousin got a screwdriver and opened the cartridge to reveal a couple of black chips on a circuit board, my mind was blown.

What chartered flights? Even the Rwanda airline wants nothing to do with this.

Where are all the extra judges suddenly come from? Are you pulling then off other cases like rape and murder?

No interference from Foreign courts. They're not foreign, it's the European court of which we, the UK, are a member.

Labour keeps voting against the bill! Yes, they do but you have the majority in the house of commons and the Lords. It's the Tory lords voting against this bill because they have the sense to realise how batshit this legislation is.

Rant over.

The older one is on the left.

I don't have the money or a house big enough unfortunately. I nearly bid on the older UCS version today on eBay. It was missing several easily replaceable parts on the front right hand side by the wheel but I decided not to.

I'm happy with my minifig collection of film vehicles.

ECTO 1, ECTO 1(2016 version - clone), BttF Delorean, Tron light cycles and Batmobiles.

The shadow box is lovely and way out of my price range. 😄

I used to have a clone of the technic Lego Batpod but it was rather fragile and I lost pieces so I binned it.

Although, I've just recently got a MOC Batpod which a minifig can ride.

If Lego released the animated version of the Batmobile, that would probably do me.

I don't get a lot of Lego, so I'm often surprised by new pieces. The one that surprised me with this set was a 2x2 flat piece that had a technic bolt on the bottom.

There's three of those holding on the sloped front ends on either side, clicking into the technic brick substructure.

These are just overpriced toy stores now. More toys than games. They haven't been a real gaming store for ages, in my opinion.

We have a standard 4K stick and yesterday I looked into replacing the launcher. Unfortunately it seems that Amazon have stopped users from accessing ADB or an ADB shell making it almost impossible to customise it. It may still be root-able but I wasn't that desperate to change it.

Crazy Taxi was fantastic.

Metropolis Street Racer was utterly brilliant and I remember being annoyed when I heard the sequel was going to that new Microsoft console called XBox. That was of course Project Gotham Racing.

And Rez which I love so much I bought it remastered on Xbox360, again on PS4 and one final time on Quest 2.

I forget his name right now, but I followed one of the writers of Bill & Ted on Twitter, he also wrote Men in Black. This was a couple of years ago but he showed a letter from Sony informing him that they still can't pay any residual cheques because according to their accounting, Men in Black way still in the red.

I've been told that you should never view cars after it's been raining because it obviously makes them look better and hides marks in the body work.

Take a towel with you, you'll be fine. 😄

I was a sucker for FMV games on the PC. There was the X-Files FMV adventure game, that was six CDs. So was Ripper, another adventure game that starred Christopher Walken, Karen Allen, John Rhys Davies and many more.

I also had Star Trek: Klingon, Star Trek: Borg and a thriller about a nuclear submarine called Silent Steel.

I tried copying a friend's copy of Rebel Assault to my hard drive. It technically worked but the video playback was stuttery and terrible

My first CD-ROM was a quad speed for £120 and that was very cheap at the time. I then switched over to the CD edition of my favourite monthly of magazine and was adjusted by the new games I could play.

Ooh! LucasArts adventure games with full speech!

I think the first tapes I remember buying were the stories with books. You know, Back to the Future condensed into 20 odd minutes of audio and a 24-page book.

My first album (cassette) I think was the Top Gun soundtrack. The first vinyl was Batman by Prince, which I bought on a school day trip to France.

Finally, one Christmas, my parents told me they were buying me a CD/Tape deck and gave me money to buy some CDs. I bought Stranger in a Strange Land by Iron Maiden, and the Soundtrack to Alien.

As a younger man, I used to always get an upgrade after two years but I finally broke out of that cycle and finally got a SIM only contract and bought a decent mid range phone. It's now three years old, still working fine and I don't see myself changing it anytime soon.
