Were zx spectrum +2 keyboards disgusting to type on?

Out of curiosity, I've been watching a few restorations of those spectrums, and I've noticed the keyboards having a rather peculiar construction, judging by today's standards. They have 2 springs, the small one, as far as I understand, presses the membrane layers together, and the larger one returns the key into neutral position...

I had a ZX Spectrum + and the keyboard was pretty decent was much better than the rubber of the normal one. The Sinclair ZX81 probably takes the cake for worst overall as it was just a very thin membrane.

I use both but I'll ditch reddit as soon as I can't patch apps like Infinity with my own api key. Reddits more active but it's also horrible to use if you don't jump through hoop.

Call me skeptical I guess but if you wanted a phone that worked as long as lithium say 5000mah using capacitors I think it would be a dozen times larger at least.

Maybe I've got it wrong and supercapacitors hold more energy or something like that.

I want the blink ability from the Dishonored video games. Basically a line of sight teleport but still it's awesome in the games.

I'd be more suspicious of the router manufacturer or even a disgruntled worker there than anyone else to be honest. An actual hacker I think would be more motivated to turn them into a botnet or similar.

Can't think of why someone would want to brick them without another motive but I could be wrong.

I wouldn't hide I'd ambush them and call every police force etc I could think of.

I don't think anything else is really a sensible option except trying to cover as much distance in 5 min as possible and again calling every one who could potentially help.

It's when corrosion sets in things get unfixable. If you get to its insides before then some IPA and a decent scrub with something like toothbrush can clean it up.

The exception to this would probably only really be the battery and yeah that should be disconnected as the first step.

True I've had screens on smaller devices go very distorted for a few days after ipa was used elsewhere. They did actually clear and go back to normal mind you and I've never actually went near an actual screen with ipa intentionally.

I get it, ipa is good and fixes surprisingly a lot but only ever use it on boards, components and things like buttons and connectors. Keep it away from screens and batteries.

I've always done this honestly maybe I didn't explain well. It does do a miracle job on water damage if done early enough though.

I'm using Jabras at the minute they have much worse NC than the Sonys they replaced. Their one plus point is range and waterproofness but yeah for NC avoid Jabra.

Which is the best micro sd card company/manufacturer you can recommend ?

I don't care about speed, bigger storage, or small price difference all i want is it to not start corrupting my files randomly, die really fast, be unreliable etc . i just want something to put my files on then delete em and add something else, and forget about it and have it work for atleast 10 years . I don't really transfer...

Not sandisk I've bought maybe 3 and they all went unwritable in the first year and all bought from major UK stores like argos and pc world so yeah they can't blame that on online fakes.

I favor Amd for laptops the reason is simply Apus, I've a really nice modded version of fallout new vegas on my laptop if it was an intel Id need a decent graphics card to do the same. I mostly prefer older games so Apu is fine for me.

Desktops though you might as well go power crazy.

Not many I'm entirely self taught and was into some dodgy things while I was into this programming.

I started off making password crackers in Visual basic I also let's say experimented in trojans and taking over the api functions of popular chat programs etc. I used to do some really childish let's call them pranks of people who argued with me in chateooms etc.

Never went much further than delphi as far as programming goes although I got surprisingly good at that but never in good ways.

I had an ex go vegan when I was with her she did honestly turn fully nuts in the fact she decided her cat was now vegan and began constantly trying to blackmail me into it.

Yeah that's why it ended as well, my favourite food is a beef curry and I love a good burger.

Granted I don't think all Vegans are like this it's just my main experience with it.

I'm going to say I honestly don't know but the guy was definetly messed in the head but I think he was a talent I'm not going to judge him because I really do not know (would I let any kid of mine sleep over him, no I wouldn't but that goes for anyone else as well) .

Jimmy Saville on the other hand is hopefully in hell.

Tried this just couldn't get past the tiles I'm probably spoiled from playing civ on pc but yeah I tried quite a few tilesets and nothing worked for me

I suspect the actual game is probably better than the official ones but I just couldn't get past the graphics.

I play shattered Pixel dungeon on my phone once a day it's good but I really never get past the mining stage and can't understand the crafting.

One day I'm hoping for a fluke we're I somehow go on to beat it but anytime I actually feel like my characters getting good I die in seconds to something.

Good game though it does give you the hope you just need a lucky run.

I use Neutron Audio Player which has a profile for my headphones but at the same time I don't really think Bluetooth could realistically be called audiophile.

So yeah I do the best with what I've got but don't really go crazy with it.

Soy sauce I find strange I know people are meant to live it but I honestly can't even taste it.

I've tried using it quite a lot because I'm a huge fan of Asian food but soy sauce stumps me as I can't taste any difference. I can tell the difference if I add actual msg but not with soy sauce.

Hps one of only two companies that will never get a penny from me again. I had an HP desktop that the power supply died on at the beginning of Covid only then did I realise it was propriety and they didn't even have it in stock.

Kept checking for about a year and couldn't get a replacement when every other computer I've ever owned I could have bought a power supply the same damn day.

For the record the other company is Sony who just decided to delete my account with a lot of paid games because I hadn't logged in for about 6 months.

For me Snes, PSP and the original PlayStation.

Just a nostalgia thing really but they did all have great games. Only console I currently own is a Vita and I mostly just play my old PSP favourites on it.
