Fair criticism, but the bill will also make camping illegal as well as put a tremendous logistical burden on local municipalities all while offering zero funding.

Under HB 1365:

Individuals who are homeless are prohibited from camping on city streets, sidewalks, and parks—and are instead placed in temporary shelters monitored by law enforcement agencies.

The state of Florida has the enforcement tools needed to ensure local governments comply.

Homeless shelters will require occupants to not use drugs.

These shelters will also include substance abuse and mental health treatments.

For those who don't get the joke, it's a play at the concept of the "both sides" argument of political and international relations, and the website is a pun on genocide. Some states have "maximums" to pay for wrongful convictions as well, like tragically small payouts. I feel like if you steal years of someone's life, they shouldn't have to worry about another thing the rest of the life you didn't steal.

Years ago I ordered a bunch of science books, On The Shoulders of Giants, The Selfish Gene, Not Even Wrong, The Big Bang Origins of our Universe, and some others while on a deployment in the military and when I opened my big bundle my boss "made fun of me," by saying something along the lines of, "Y'all think you're so smart, but you need so many books and I just need one." Referring to his Bible.

The irony being that the more I read, the more I realize I don't know, and the more he reads, the more certain he becomes. So yeah, "I don't know" is my fucking motto these days because I don't know shit.

The way I dealt with it was either it was flammable and the viscosity went down so it wasn't slippery anymore or it was slippery.
