I would imagine that the devices aren't making elevenlabs requests directly, but just making requests to the rabbit backend, which forwards the responses. if I'm wrong, then that's quite impressively bad security

I would much rather have them on Linux. The thing with OSX is that the UI works very differently from Windows. Going between KDE and Windows is very similar, but I still don't know how to use OSX

I believe instances generate the preview as soon as it's federated. The problem is that if you have many followers, each of their instances will try to generate a preview at the same time

They responded as such because mentioning @ framework made it show up as a post on the framework community on lemmy. They presumably didn't understand why, and just thought you were being weird by posting a framework ad on the framework community (where everyone already likes framework)

Probably so you can have water to grow the sugar cane. In modern versions though, it has to have a block below to actually make water. Maybe that's not the case in this version, the screenshot is ancient
