I was wondering why headlines were saying Nancy is on the anti- bandwagon...it's because she's NOT! Pelosi strikes back at the on tv, while publicly supporting Biden's run. She says "I don’t know what’s happened in New York Times that they make up news.”

So when the former calls out a major non-FOX media company, you know they've really hit rock bottom

Plus we've got completely lying about Ted

I canceled my and subscriptions a while back, which was at once an easy and hard decision. Bothsidesing issues in the news sections and journalistic malfeasance in the opinion sections made it easy; hard were the handful of informative, investigative stories to which I now only have access if gifted articles. Anyway, I don't know what their front pages look like today, but if is not a front page article, perhaps it's time to cancel yours?

@GottaLaff I think Orenstein mostly has it correct, except that the failure by to focus on Trump is intentional, not negligent. Bezos fired editors who want to engage in journalism and brought in Murdoch hacks to run the paper. They suppressed the Alito flag story for three years - that is not negligence

So, the last few days the general public has seen conclusive evidence of what many already knew. CNN and the New York Times are corrupt organizations using their power and influence to get Trump elected.

Going forward temper everything from these media organizations with the sure knowledge that they are not neutral arbiters of the news, but rather sophisticated political influence operations.

Wow, a #WaPo #GiftLink is now a gift of subscribers' social network details, not a benefit of having paid for a subscription. And we learn about this from the Free for All reader comment column.

When creating a gift link: "Anyone can access your gift article - no account required"? But buried at the end of the learn more link: "Gift article recipients will need to register for a Washington Post account.” Meaning the Post can determine (monetize?) gift givers’ social network. Sleazy.

This article is misleading and emboldens pandemic deniers and minimizers.

It's incorrect to say there was no science to support distancing rules.

The science absolutely shows us that increasing physical distance is associated with decreasing risk.

The nuance that is dangerously not conveyed here is that while distancing helps, 6-feet alone often isn't enough because COVID is airborne, so we need layered measures like masks and clean air too.

Israel's settlements in the occupied West Bank are widely viewed as a violation of international law, which prohibits the transfer of civilian populations to territories seized through military force. Despite this legal standing, the Israeli government has continued to expand its control over Palestinian lands in the West Bank through various mechanisms, including land appropriation orders.
