Good people of the fediverse: I understand your deep disdain for all things AI/LLM/ML, particularly when it comes to art. That said, please stop reporting posts that contain AI generated images if there's no intent to deceive with that image.

Reporting a post with the complaint "suspected AI art" isn't going to result in a response, and just wastes everyone's time.

Note: If someone posts a clearly AI generated image and says "Look at this painting I made, please send money to support my art", I think we can take action there for deception.

@jerry
There is no reason for anyone to post AI generated art.

The chance of finding AI generated art that is not straight up plagiarism is close to zero and it most likely deserves to be reported.

If a post or article needs "art," go outside and take a picture of the nearest pretty thing and post that.

Or draw a picture and take a photo of that.

Or find a nice image online and pay the photographer or artist a an agreed upon fee to use it.

There are legit ways to add art to a post and AI ain't one of them.

    By details, Merchan asks, more than just "we had sex"? Yes, Necheles says.

    Remember Meredith McIver? When Melanie Trump plagiarized Michelle Obama for her 2016 speech at the RNC convention, #MeredithMcIver took the fall,
    "Team Trump at first adamantly denied that there was any plagiarism — but fessed up Wednesday when McIver admitted the mistake."
