Well now I can finally share - I just started my first day as a federal scientist at NOAA's Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory.

I'll be continuing research on improving our understanding of climate prediction and projection, especially with data-driven approaches for high-impact extremes.

@ZLabe Nice! I worked at for a little while, providing software support for analyzing expanded variable spaces when perturbing inputs to big oceanic circulation (and cyclone) model forecasting.

I'm in my dream career in astronomy now, but I do reminisce about logging in to work and spinning up 30000 cores to test my dinky modeling projects. Congrats on your new research position!
