    A person stands on a rocky mountain peak at sundown.     The colour brown is so common in nature that we tend to overlook it. It does not catch the eye like blue, that is rare in nature. It does have many merits in it's warm hues, and lots interesting subjects for an artist to explore...

    One week left on my enamel pin campaign on Backerkit! Only sunflower is left from the goals.

    These flowers all appear in mythology from or about Ancient Greece. Each unlocked pin gets a little story by @duncanwilson, directly inspired by those myths.

    I also finished my annual selfportrait, this time in graphite. I messed up the proportions and had to fix it in post using liquify, so let's consider this a digital-traditional art :D

    A new bee drawing, this time with red poppies. These little guys just love poppies, sometimes I see them pick up the colour of the pollen when they have been rooting around in the heart of flower, I've seen purple coated bees emerging, too cute!
    That said, for the purposes of art I have kept the colours simple and clean here...

    A giant undersea creature, something between a whale and an anglerfish. It has a vast, yawning mouth and a yellow eye, which is a portal with the silhouette of a person in it. It appears to be a machine; the lure in front of it is on the end of a precisely geometrical support, like a streetlight. The fish has other mechanical trappings on it, such as things that look like metal plates, and bolts. Small fish swim nearby. This is a mostly blue drawing.
