I think the interview is the culmination and the first public announcement of a #NATO nuclear posture change - here, increase the no. of ready-to-use (under all c3 obligations) nuclear sharing free fall bombs. It must be a reaction to something Mons knows, and we don't. I'm all for it, but something has changed.
Have you noticed how all news channels frame russian #propaganda on "escalation"? They say WE are escalating and WE are risking war against Russia. Instead of reporting the truth: by invading #Europe, it is Russia who is escalating and risking a war against #NATO.
Why does it matter? Because by pretending it isn't #Russia who escalated and risks #war against us, the media anchors are reporting our mindset and fear worldwide.
Self-defense is a RIGHT enshrined in #UNCharter, not escalation.
