I remember back in the day being able to keep my finger on the pulse of new critical vulnerabilities by hanging out on twitter. I’m happy that this platform is finally starting to get to that same point. The Palo vulnerability was at the top of my feed when I woke up and was able to get on it pretty much immediately.

@jerry very much agree, both the XZ back door and the Palo Alto vulnerability I’ve only used the fedi with this instance being the majority of posts. Thank you for everything you do!! 🙏

@jerry I wish people would leverage hashtags more for this kind of thing on Mastodon. Discoverability can be difficult. Overall things do seem to be getting better with industry news here.
