My dog likes to walk in our neighborhood forested park in the evenings, mostly so she can eat her favorite weed. Normally, the mosquitos drive me crazy there, but today it was gnats. I made the mistake of carelessly taking a deep breath through my nose while walking uphill. And I inhaled approximately 9000 gnats.

This is Spider-Man’s back story, right? Gnat-man doesn’t seem to have the same ring to it.

I’ve informed my wife that I’ll be going all in on unemployment. I’m buying an old Firebird to put up on blocks in the driveway and working to develop a taste for natty light.

I remember back in the day being able to keep my finger on the pulse of new critical vulnerabilities by hanging out on twitter. I’m happy that this platform is finally starting to get to that same point. The Palo vulnerability was at the top of my feed when I woke up and was able to get on it pretty much immediately.

@jerry I wish people would leverage hashtags more for this kind of thing on Mastodon. Discoverability can be difficult. Overall things do seem to be getting better with industry news here.
