@Npars01@Strandjunker
why I do not believe male voters want any of this, nobody does.
There is some narrative like if it's patriarchy, all men are OK with it and we are not. Men bloody LOVE abortion.
.
There's no civilization without birth control and abortion.
.
There is ZERO mandate for any of this, it's all for a tiny minority.
@Npars01 He doesn't need to be elected. The Koch brothers, Sheldon Adelson, and a handful of other billionaire 'influencers', worked obsessively to kill off ACA, and get Trump elected. Murdoch has interfered in the politics of three nations for decades. @punishmenthurts@Strandjunker
There is no doubt in my mind that for-profit christian contractors running institutions for unwanted and unaffordable kids will be treating them exactly like this - as cash cows, made to subsist on as little as possible, and subjected to horrible abuse by nutjobs claiming they have demons or some similar stupid bull malarkey. They are frequently caught treating their own kids like dirt, locked in closets, beaten, and starved. They aren't going to waste an ounce of empathy on unwanted kids, especially if the kids are not white, refuse to be christians, or are lgbtq. It will just like the Native American boarding schools all over again. Dead bodies every day.
@Strandjunker I am female and not a fan of abortion just because. I think there should be certain circumstances like a life (either the mother, or child, or both) is in danger or there is sexual assault. If a woman wants to abort a child just because she does not want a child then I feel like adoption should be the option. This is just my opinion though so take it for what it is.
100% of all abortions are caused by men and could be stopped completely but men just cant seem to keep their dick in their pants and their sperm under control.
@Strandjunker@wordshaper great sentiment but let’s not throw trans men under the bus pls. also that remaining 24% surely includes some women, some of whom are also able to get pregnant. the “whole story” needs to include that people can and often do vote against their own interests… and somehow justify this to themselves, whether in the belief they will never need an abortion or that, if they did, the consequences would not apply to them.
Somehow I suspect that a large proportion of those men who oppose abortion are willing to make an exception when it's for their unwanted or dangerous pregnancy.
