That noise erodes the psyche as water shifts the soil
slowly reshaping
quite possibly permanently altering
often destroying
And feeling as though I'm a part of that
by means of necessity in order to survive
is a very strange thing to process and try to live with.
I am grateful for this life and chance
But
To spend your time making noise
when all you want from this life is to contribute
enhance
bring bits of joy into this life for others
