@CelloMomOnCars It's a real indictment upon our culture that big business has been so successful in spreading doubt about climate change when we are so awash with evidence. Not a wonder that the lies of Putin & Trump so easily take hold. The currency of good will and common sense has been devalued in the marketplace.

The area has seen no rain for weeks, and the water in the reservoir is too low for the creatures to survive.

Reservoir management had previously discharged water to try to save crops downstream, Nghia said."

Heat policies urgently required

“The frequency, intensity, duration and the area covered by these heatwaves are increasing over time. We are on a rollercoaster ride in terms of temperature, which is not going to come down any time soon. It’s going to be worse, which means we need to be prepared.”

EDIT to add: Map shows the FEELS LIKE temperature not the actual temperature.

@stuffjolikes @CelloMomOnCars It really feels like we are living that book on some sort of fast forward. Science fiction that has jumped through time to become our present reality.

OMG. It's only April.

At some point people will revolt and say rich people buying new clothes every 2 weeks and flying around in private jets is not worth all of us dying.
