    @LeviKornelsen Are you adding this to the starter pack document, or releasing another one?

    I browsed through the starter set and they were different than I expected, but quite fun. It was an interesting exercise to think about the fantasy races that are typically mapped to these tropes and then thinking of how things would play out when that is shaken up or inverted.

    I also love seeing the connection points when tropes become building blocks.

    @LeviKornelsen Yeah, that's part of the fun I had in D&D 4th edition in particular, figuring out how different power sources and different classes were expressed in the different default cultures. Or in Vampire, looking at how different clans affect various tropes within them…

    Thinking about it now, the World of Darkness probably deeply influenced me (for good or ill) with the “pick from 2+ lists of archetypes/tropes/factions and shake well.”

    @LeviKornelsen This seems like it's a typo.

    @LeviKornelsen How the culture manages diseases is likely to be an important topic too. Do they advance medicine to stave off the side-effects of having so many walking corpses around? Ignore it, thinking death by disease is productive and a drop in the productivity of the living doesn't matter?
