@GottaLaff Social media isn't the toxin, only those like Elon Musk who permit toxic people to pollute it. He knowingly encourages haters who push his far right agenda. Social media is what we make of it, or silently allow others to.
@GottaLaff Social media has its problems, but notice how carefully they don't mention creeping fascism or our ticking climate clock as things that might be having a bigger effect on children's mental health than social media.
I have no idea how they would control for confounding factors like a hiring freeze that effects every city department except the NYPD or the rest of gestures wildly this.

I have talked to a few parents of young children and they state that their children are not allowed on soc. media!! I respond with, "ermm school mates?"
They refuse to believe their children might disobey their rules.
<sigh> Have they forgotten their childhood?
