childhood ends the moment you realize that giant gold-wrapped easter egg is not solid beautiful chocolate. it's hollow. maybe there's a shrunken stale mars bar in there but it's not the same. nothing is ever the same
@ElleGray I was actually grateful for that empty space. Becauuse of it I could accomplish the massive and (to childhood pals) impressive feat of devouring an entire chocolate bunny in a short amount of time without giving myself diabetes. Of course the neural patterns established by such risk/reward behavior has consequences. I.e. therapists don't seem to "get me" when I eat said chocolate bunnies in their offices when any reference to any failed relationship surfaces. #chocolate#therapy
@ElleGray where I’m from (Austria) these things (and the corresponding Christmas chocolates) often contain alcohol to make up for it. Yes, they’re given to children.
