    @alice If you think that's slow, try fsck on a 1TB USB HD.

    On that note, I wonder if there are any USB4 NVMe drives.

    @alice I'd take a Black & Decker pizza hydrator over fast file transfer speeds or hoverboards.

    @alice I don't see why it couldn't do grilled cheese, very similar ingredients, carbs and cheese. Which is why both are so delicious.

    And yeah I don't quite get the toppings there, who gets just green peppers on half?

    @alice also im pretty sure this is the timeline that biff created.

    @alice going back in time probably just creates more timelines. we need to look ahead to the future instead of back- and dethrone biff, even if he does make electric cars and destroy websites.

    @alice i mean there are two ways i can think of to do this.

    one is to have backwards compatibility with older devices. the other is to guarantee that a modern usb connection gives you modern speed.

    @trdebunked @alice

    You can have both Shirley? But you're always going to be limited either by the read/write speed of the USB stick or the USB protocol (possibly some glitchy backward compatibility software too though, I guess). Or the W/R speed of whatever it's interfaced with. I'm not actually sure where I'm going with this so will just hope you've got bored at this point and done something else instead.

    @alice I always wonder if it’s because I buy the cheapest usb drives I can get. I guess I’ll never know.
