Trump says people didn’t see the classified documents he had his in possession because they were locked up and he had secret service because he was ‘president all the time’
@Aviva_Gary Not sure what "put him under the courthouse" means, sorry.
Smith is documenting everything Trump does and says, yes. Trump has confessed like this a number of times. Smith doesn't even need that to nail him, he has all the evidence he needs. It's up to a jury.
It has to play out in court, at the trials. Not sure what else you expect or hope for.
@Aviva_Gary You think there’s been no consequences? He’s a defendant, 91 counts. He’s been found liable in multiple trials. He’s losing all his money and maybe even Trump Org. His legacy is all of that, even if he’s never found guilty… which I believe he will be.
He’s still going thru 4 trials. We have no outcomes yet.
So no consequences? The legal system is glacial. You know that.
Even if what you say is so (and please let it be so 🙏) if it doesn't happen before an election where he can pardon himself if he wins, or can overthrow the gov (because some people seem not to care about that???) etc it does not matter.
He can get it all back and more.
I want everything to work, I want him to face the music but right now he is still a danger & more importantly the system (Gov, people etc) or what comes after is pos worse
@Aviva_Gary You’re not hearing me. He’s ALREADY been fined, ALREADY been found liable for rape. ALREADY a defendant facing 91 counts. That can’t be changed, Those ARE consequences.
I said nothing about what the outcomes would be or if he somehow evades trial.
@GottaLaff it’s gonna get crazier because he’s trying out options that may stick - not with the courts, but the court of public opinion his followers represent.
This is so on brand for him, I would be immune to it if I didn’t care what actually happens in Nov. problem is there are too many who don’t care, vote based on sound bites and Fox News reporting. I believe the numbers are favorable to Biden but I also know the media seems to be making a turn back to 2015-16 reporting.
