It's absolutely terrifying to think of Vance as president, I could not agree more, but on the flip side: I'd be even more scared of a more palatable VP, or one who's extremist but "fake normie" like Mike Johnson. If Nikki Haley had been VP, you might have had a lot of less crazy types vote for Trump figuring they were really voting for her. As it is, it's an all crank ticket. I think Haley voters are more likely to stay home or vote Biden now. But we'll see.
Certainly true, although I think there's also reason to emphasize white women due to the sheer numbers and the reproductive rights issues. Every time reproductive rights are on the ballot, Dems win.
I wish all white women would be equally motivated by the racism and homophobia, but at the end of the day a win is a win and we can work on literally everything else after securing our democracy.
