The and the poisonous plant. A Common Carder visiting a Woody (a.k.a. ) flower at Brandon Marsh last month. Adapted for buzz pollination, the flower releases pollen when a visiting Bee vibrates her wing muscles at just the right frequency.

Pollination takes place as gather pollen to feed their larvae. The resulting berries are toxic to us, but provide food for birds.
