“Don’t leave your child in the car while you gamble at the casino.”
“Your daughter is not your date.”
“Please store your firearms safely to prevent suicide.”
Uhhhhhh um America?
Hey there. Hey. Um.
You Ok? … or nah?
@futurebird I rrally don't want to know where "Your daughter is not your date" cones from, but if you combine those three that gun is going off and there's going to be a dead bad daddy in the casino parking lot.
@futurebird as effed as all of these are, firearm safety and don't leave kids in the car are at least self explanatory. Your daughter is not your date... This one scares me a bit. Who needs to hear this and why are they allowed out in the world?
@futurebird we haven't been okay for at least forty years. people do not get the help they need because societal pressures or because doing so isn't profitable enough
@futurebird You can always tell when you've driven back into Michigan from Canada by the giant billboards advertising churches. There's a certain amount of religious advertising in Finland, but the United States is on a whole nother level.
@futurebird I'm from Germany, just looking over the pond, I can only judge from the outside, but I'd say, yes, deffo going through some things for a while now
@futurebird@czottmann We decided to stop taking our meds because maybe the voices that only we can hear have our best interest at heart. (Also, our insurance wouldn't cover the prescription anymore)
