@GottaLaff At this point - isn't really a matter of what happens in the seven or so battleground states anyway? The popular vote doesn't mean a hill of beans per se as we saw in 2016 when that orange turd won.

We gotta keep momentum high and get people in those battleground states who may be undecided on who to vote for or even about voting at all - decide to vote Harris-Walz.

If we get bonus electoral votes, well then, all the better!!!

    I’ve come across a lot of people here and in other corners of the interwebz who are extremely adamant and passionate about the response the U.S. should have toward the humanitarian crisis and murder campaign that is currently being waged against the people of Palestine.

    They are so staunch in their position against the fact the Biden Administration has supplied weapons and military financial support to Israel in support of this campaign, they vow to vote for a third party candidate or not vote at all.

    I get it. I am completely with you on your opinion of how fucked it is that we are supporting Bibi’s Zionist movement in the region.

    But Rep Acasio-Cortez articulates rather well why she is voting for and why I am too.

    Harris can be moved. I believe Harris can change course in Gaza. I believe Harris can be persuaded to place an embargo on Israel. Trump absolutely cannot. And under a Trump presidency so many others will be hurt beyond just those in Gaza.

    @TheBrieze Well Brie - I live in a state that's not a battleground state, so the likelihood of me being able to directly speak with VP Harris and or Governor Walz is pretty slim to none. So I do what I can, when I can to speak my mind to my elected officials in hopes they will speak up for me and others with similar points of view to mine that reside in the state and congressional district they represent. You know, kind of like how Democracy works.

    How are you pressuring your elected officials? What are YOU doing to pressure the administration of any of the candidates to resolve the brutal and deadly situation in Gaza?

    If you have other ideas for me to utilize - I'm all ears. Throw them my way.

    And yet, here I am still waiting on your answer of who you are going to vote for and why.

    @TheBrieze Thanks for answering my question on who you will be voting in November.

    In my letters to my representatives I did not mention anything about voting whatsoever - what I did ask for them to advocate for an end to military aid for Israel and also to advocate as heartily as possible for a cease fire in Gaza to that innocent lives might be saved.

    Good for you for sticking to your convictions, even though, personally, I believe you are throwing away your vote to the detriment of others. You have the right to do so in this country ( at least for now).
