What sort of volunteering or fundraising work are ya'll thinking about for this summer? I want to do something over my vacation. Do you know of an organization or a person who is overworked and stressed who would feel better and get a second wind if someone showed up to help or cheered them on?
I'm trying to think of ways to support people who have already been working. This goes for everything from community organizing, Democrat stuff, voter reg, union things, all of it.
@futurebird I just got on the mailing list for the nearest bike repair co-op that's volunteer run. It's not that close to me and since I don't own a car it might not be possible, but I'm going to at least check it out!
