@blag@FediTips There's actually a bit of software called FediFetcher that server admins can install that fetches all the replies to the posts that you look at.
I don't understand the technicalities but I do know it's been set up on my instance (illo.social) and it definitely improves the experience. And also saves me duplicating a reply to someone when I can see that 10 other people have already said exactly the same thing!
